Hi, I’m Amy! I am a graduate of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Public Relations, and Film and Video Production. I am a Laker for a Lifetime and will always bleed blue.
While at Grand Valley, I discovered my passion for moments. From the moment somebody experiences an event, catches an ad, or scrolls past an image, they are experiencing something. I love seeing a person's face light up when they see their favorite artist perform, I enjoy hearing the laughter of a commercial that comes on the TV and enjoy seeing endless Retweets of a pun.
During my four years, I crafted many moments and I strive to produce much more during my career. Some highlights included participating in the 2015 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), co-coordinating the 2014 Homecoming week, and serving as President of Spotlight Productions, Grand Valley’s campus programming board, during the 2014-2015 school year.
After graduation, I continued my passion for moments at CBS Radio Detroit by sharing my love of country music as a Promotions Coordinator. Next, I quickly joined Doner to create moments for our clients, the Detroit Zoo, Walsh College and Serta, as an Assistant Account Executive. I joined the Parade Company team in 2017 as their Marketing and Sponsorship Intern and created many memories for Metro Detroit residents as they experienced the Parade. Now, you can find me with the Detroit Economic Club creating the best brand experience for members.
I'm currently pursuing my love of art, design and fonts by opening my own lettering business, Bernadine's Designs. Named after my grandmother, Bernadine, my goal is to bring lettered art to you and your loved ones.
In my free time, you can find me obsessing over The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Dancing with the Stars, singing along to my favorite artists at multiple concerts a year and traveling with camera in hand.
